Bespoke Dual Garden Rooms Maximise Home and Work Life

The core challenge for this project was to deliver two substantial, architecturally distinct garden rooms that met the client's high standards for finish and functionality. The design incorporated different external cladding choices for each building to give them separate identities while maintaining a cohesive, modern aesthetic across the property. The Home Office was specified entirely in White Equitone cement fibre cladding for a clean, professional look, while the Summerhouse featured a mix of standard CP cladding and the same White Equitone to its visible front elevation. This approach created a visually interesting and harmonious pair of modular garden buildings.Crucially, both buildings required high-performance features for year-round usability. This included identical glazing specifications: UPVC double-glazed patio doors, fixed pane windows, and a tilt-and-turn window/door combination, all in Anthracite Grey, with a total corner glazed length of 4500mm. Internally, both garden offices and summerhouses were finished with plastered and white-painted walls, an LVT floor covering allowance, and comprehensive electrical installations. The electrical scope covered eight flush-mounted LED downlighters, four double sockets, a 1.5\KW panel heater in each, and the necessary armored cable connection to the existing consumer unit, ensuring they are ready for immediate use as high-quality garden rooms.
