Our client in London (SW20) approached us needing to create a dedicated, multi-functional space separate from their main home. We collaborated closely to design and construct a sleek, bespoke garden room. The final structure is a contemporary, expertly finished space that perfectly meets the client's need for a quiet, high-specification room to enjoy year-round.
We designed this bespoke garden room to maximise the usable area in the client's rear garden. The key to the contemporary design was the choice of external materials. We opted for premium Equitone fibre cement cladding on all elevations. This material delivers a clean, modern aesthetic with a highly durable, low-maintenance finish, which was a critical requirement for the client. The design incorporated large glazing sections to flood the interior with natural light, ensuring the garden room feels bright and connected to the outdoor space.The construction process was managed efficiently to minimise disruption to the client. The compact design and use of robust, modern construction techniques ensured the new 4.3m x 3.4m garden room was completed to the highest standards.
The interior was finished to a high specification, creating a comfortable, temperature-controlled environment ready for immediate use, whether as a home office, gym, or relaxation space. The overall result is a stylish and functional addition to the London property.
