A client wanted to enhance their property in Hertfordshire with a versatile garden room. The core requirement was for a multi-purpose space that could serve as a peaceful retreat and a practical area, complete with its own facilities. Key elements of the brief included a spacious main room, significant natural light through extensive glazing, an integrated WC, and a covered outdoor canopy area for year-round enjoyment.

HOW WE DID IT

Vita Modular designed, manufactured, and installed a bespoke 4m x 4.3m (17.2m²) garden room. To meet the client's vision, the structure included several premium features:

Extensive Glazing: A stunning 4.6m corner section of aluminium glazing was incorporated, featuring two sliding doors to create a seamless connection with the garden. A separate window was installed for the WC.
Integrated Facilities: A compact but complete 2m x 1m internal toilet and washroom was installed, including a WC, a sink with a mixer tap, and plumbing. This addition provides the convenience of a self-contained unit.
Side Canopy: A stylish side canopy was added, featuring a solid rear wall with a black architectural aluminium panel and an option for a faux living wall, creating a sheltered and aesthetically pleasing outdoor seating area.
Modern Comforts: The garden room was equipped with two infrared heaters for efficient warmth, LVT flooring, MDF skirting, and a comprehensive electrical package including internal and external lighting and sockets.

The build was completed on a foundation slab prepared by the client, with Vita Modular's structure designed to fit perfectly into the recessed space.

How our Design & Build Process Works

Step 1

ENQUIRY

Complete our customer enquiry form so we can fully understand your modular building requirements, and one of our dedicated team members will contact you to arrange a design consultation. Please contact us to arrange a visit to our Garden Room showroom in Coventry.

Step 2

PROPOSAL

We will send over a proposal that includes our terms and conditions, technical drawings, agreed payment plan details, and offer you a fixed installation date commitment for your modular building.

Step 3

SITE SURVEY

One of our expert project managers will take a few measurements at a pre-arranged site survey and make all considerations to ensure the installation process will go as smoothly as possible.

Step 4

MANUFACTURE

Our team will begin the manufacturing process at our Warwickshire production facility to precision craft your modular building and book in our installation team for the agreed installation date.

Step 5

INSTALLATION

We will contact you around a week before the agreed installation date to confirm any final arrangements that need to be made. Our install team will arrive on the morning of your install date and complete all works within the agreed timeframe. Our standard garden rooms are typically installed within 5-7 working days for example.
