Bespoke Teddington Garden Room

The challenge was to create a single building that served two distinct purposes: a primary workspace that was quiet and professional, but also with a dedicated, hidden storage area to keep the main space uncluttered.  The aesthetic had to be modern and cohesive. The solution was a 6m x 2.5m bespoke garden room, designed and built to achieve these goals.

We used a combination of contemporary standing seam cladding on the flank walls and Cembrit cladding on the rear elevation. To create a sophisticated and coordinated look, all exterior finishes, including the large aluminium window and door frames, were professionally sprayed in RAL7006. The design was engineered to be exceptionally bright, incorporating a huge 5-metre wide sliding door and a large 1.6-metre fixed window to flood the space with natural light.

Functionality was central to the interior. We installed enhanced soundproof insulation and plasterboard to create a peaceful and private working environment. The practical internal layout features a partitioned storeroom complete with a Howdens moulded door. The project was finished to a high standard with LVT flooring, a comprehensive electrical package including a data point and chrome sockets, and both internal and external LED lighting. The entire on-site installation was completed in just 15 working days.
