Sleek White Rendered Extension for Contemporary Living in Warwick
This project involved designing and constructing a modern home extension, providing much-needed additional living space for the client. The solution delivered a visually striking and highly functional addition, seamlessly blending with the existing property while meeting stringent thermal performance requirements.
The client sought to expand their living area with a contemporary extension that prioritised both aesthetics and energy efficiency. A key challenge was to integrate the new structure smoothly with the existing home while achieving ambitious thermal performance targets. Our design team worked to create a solution that not only met these technical specifications but also offered a bright and open living space.
The extension features a clean, minimalist design, utilising a white silicone render for the external cladding to create a bright and modern aesthetic. The structural frame, constructed from structurally graded steel, provided robust support, while the use of rigid sheet polyurethane insulation throughout the floor, walls, and roof ensured exceptional thermal performance, surpassing building control regulations. The careful selection of materials and precise construction methods were crucial in delivering a high-quality, energy-efficient, and visually appealing extension that fulfilled the client's vision.
