The project involved the construction of a 15.75 SQ/M modular extension at a residence in Alvechurch. Key to the design was achieving superior thermal performance, akin to a traditional new build, which was met through the use of rigid sheet polyurethane insulation and structurally insulated panels. The team meticulously planned the integration, including the removal of existing doors to the extension and making good plasterwork and decoration, ensuring a smooth transition between the old and new structures. The foundation utilised galvanised steel ground screws for stability, with careful consideration for the client's preparation of the patio base. Attention to detail in cladding, glazing, and internal finishes ensured a high-quality outcome, all while adhering to robust health and safety guidelines.
